Grab-A-Mow

Trust & safety

Clear expectations. Respect for your property. A community built one visit at a time.

Know what is ready

Profiles, lawn requests, quotes, private dashboard messages, payout onboarding, and receipt tools are available. Availability depends on your location and nearby providers; signing up does not guarantee a job or an available pro.

Background-check automation is awaiting Checkr API approval and testing. A pending profile is not cleared. Do not travel to or begin a job until screening, payout setup, and homeowner payment are confirmed. Early self-paid screening is not available yet.

Automatic recurring schedules, instant replacement pros, and live GPS-map tracking are not available yet. Arrange and confirm each visit separately. Status messages and email updates are not continuous location tracking.

What the badges mean

Background screening clear

This badge requires a Checkr report linked to the pro with a clear result. A submitted application, payment, or Stripe account is not a cleared background check. Screening does not guarantee safety or future conduct.

Insured

This badge requires reviewed, current general liability insurance proof. It expires with that proof. Policy limits, exclusions, and the service performed affect coverage; the badge is not a coverage guarantee or a Grab-A-Mow insurance policy.

Stripe payout setup

Pros enter bank, identity, and tax information securely with Stripe. Payout readiness is not a background-screening badge. Never send a Social Security number, bank credentials, or identity document by email or in a job message.

For homeowners

  1. Provide accurate yard details, your preferred date, and a photo if available. Mention pets, gates, hazards, and access needs.
  2. Compare quotes, the total price, proposed timing, and each pro's actual badges. Selecting a quote is not permission to start while checks are pending.
  3. Confirm the visit details with your pro in your private dashboard. Keep payments attached to the Grab-A-Mow job.
  4. Review completion proof and raise any concern promptly. Do not approve work you have not checked.

Lending your mower is optional and only for your property. Discuss permission, condition, and safe use before the visit; review the equipment terms before agreeing.

Request lawn care

For lawn pros

  1. Use your first and last name and an email you can access. Set an accurate base location, service radius, equipment, and availability.
  2. Complete secure Stripe onboarding and upload current insurance proof for review. Never describe yourself as screened or insured unless the corresponding status is confirmed.
  3. Quote work that fits your skills and route. Agree on the scope and arrival time, and wait for the required readiness steps before travel.
  4. Send an on-the-way update, document the work, and keep communication and payments in Grab-A-Mow.

Branded attire is optional. Present yourself professionally. Do not bring an unapproved helper or enter a home as part of an outdoor lawn-care visit. Do not apply sprays or chemicals through Grab-A-Mow.

Weather, cancellations, or a problem

Stop if conditions are unsafe. Message the other person promptly and contact Grab-A-Mow about a cancellation, missed visit, access problem, damage, or proposed rain date. A message alone does not change a booking or issue a refund; obtain confirmation.

Include your job reference, a clear description, and relevant photos. Refunds, disputes, replacement arrangements, and insurance claims require review; no automatic outcome is promised. This is not an emergency service. For immediate danger, contact emergency services.
